CSO Sustainability Index is an analytical instrument that measures the progress of civil sector in Central and Eastern Europe and Eurasia.
The index was developed by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), in partnership with local organizations in each country where it is implemented.
It is intended for the assessment of progress of civil society by examining the overall environment for the development of civil society through 7 dimensions: legal framework, organizational capacity, financial viability, advocacy, service provision, infrastructure and public image of CSOs.
